NSW Wedding Photographer + Circa 1876 Hunter Valley + Erin and Mitchell

Wow - what a wonderful couple of days we had with Erin, Mitchell and their gorgeous family and friends to celebrate such an important day in their lives together!

Mere and I had the privilege of photographing Erin and Mitchell's rehearsal dinner at Peppers Convent the night before their big day and it was so incredibly special. Erin has such a beautiful, kind heart and absolutely nothing could have wiped the smile off her face, she arrived in an alluring 1920's inspired teal dress that her mum had made which was just gob smacking. Enter Mitchell, with an awesome Cravat, a very witty sense of humor and a grin from ear to ear to match Erin's, they are truly a perfect match. Erin had secretly planned Georgina Grimshaw (an awesome acoustic singer, definitely look her up!) to serenade all of their closest family and friends with their favourite songs during the night and the way that they both looked at each other during her set gave me complete goosebumps, they are so in love and I couldn't wipe the smile off my face.

The weather for the Wedding day was divine, bright blue skies and not a cloud in sight - we knew that we were in for a pretty special day.

I photographed Mitch and the boys having some fun and getting ready while Mere captured the girls getting their makeup and hair done by Chic Artistry before we were off to St Michael's Church in Wollombi for the Ceremony by Father Robert Borg, who is also a close family friend of theirs - so lovely!

Every element of the day flowed perfectly with the gorgeous newlyweds absolutely beaming for the entirety of the day.

The location shoot was so magical, with the most golden light throughout the afternoon on the beautiful grounds of Circa 1876 where Erin and Mitch also had their Reception.

Onto the Reception styling - AHHH!! Darlene from Peonies is seriously the best of the best! Erin had a nautical theme in mind as Mitch loves going out on the boat, and Darlene absolutely brought this theme to life. The venue looked incredible and was so much fun for us to photograph.

A huge thank you again to Erin and Mitchell for letting us share their special day, it's people like you both who make our job an absolute breeze and truly love what we do.

All of the big cheesy smiles,

Laura xx
