Hot Air Balloon + Hunter Valley Elopement + Laura and Shaun

"Hot Air Balloon Elopement?!" You say. "Heck yeah!" The Popcorn Team yells in excitement.

Laura and Shaun emailed us a few months ago with their absolutely EPIC plans to tie the knot for Laura's 30th birthday... more than 2000 feet above the ground. Upon receiving the email, Mere and I both squealed with delight because it was such a crazy plan that we just HAD to be a part of it!

I met up with Laura & Shaun at a very cold and chilly, early hour of the morning (coffee was definitely a necessity!) and we drove to the launch site where this beautiful couple, their Celebrant Julie, our awesome pilot Daren from Wine Country Ballooning and I would take off, high into the air so that Laura & Shaun could tie the knot.

It was so incredibly magical and definitely an elopement that I will hold very near and dear to my heart.

A huge thank you again to Laura and Shaun for having me there and for allowing Popcorn to capture such a special day in their lives together.
