CAVES BEACH WEDDING + POPCORN PHOTOGRAPHY + CASSIE AND TRENT

this was such an incredibly special wedding for both mere and myself to photograph and I can assure you that there were many, many happy tears throughout the entirety of the day.

Cassie and Trent are two very amazing friends of ours, Cassie being the wedding co-ordinator and Trent being the head chef at our favourite venue, circa 1876. We’ve known both of them for an incredibly long time, so being asked to photograph their special day was such an honour.

they celebrated their love among their closest friends and family at caves coastal bar and bungalows at caves beach in a beautiful beach ceremony with the always amazing, lillian lyon. Our ridiculously talented friend Darlene from peonies boutique weddings absolutely nailed the florals and styling (as always) and the legendary sam from silent shout kept the dance floor grooving all night long. It was seriously such a perfectly planned but relaxed day, which is exactly what we pictured for Cass + Trent. The wonderful Brad from gmtmt filmed the day alongside us and shot some epic film on his super 8 (seriously, it’s amazing - check it out on his socials).

it could not have been a more perfect day for these two incredible human beings and we are so grateful that we got to capture an insanely beautiful moment in their lives together.
